VEBA Solutions specializes in carving out those retirees from the active plan, and placing them on a fully insured plan that is tailored for their needs and revolves around Medicare, many times lowering the premiums for both the active population as well as the retirees. Unlike traditional Medicare Supplement policies, Retiree Medical allows plans to be customized and not subject to one of the National standard plans. It allows you to pick and choose any of the benefits that you would find in one of the standard plans, and build your own plan, picking and choosing the benefit amounts and adding custom co-pays and out-of-pocket limits. Better yet, these plans are then rated on your group’s merit. No longer does the rest of a state’s population on a similar plan dictate any future rate increases. Your group will be rated on their claims experience, and their claims experience alone. In some cases, we even have the opportunity to pool the group’s experience, offsetting any one year’s bad claims experience. All of our plans are indemnity based and there are no confining networks.
